Mke MindBody Wellness does accept insurance for Acupuncture . *STARTING SEPTEMBER 1, 2019
We can bill as an OUT-OF-NETWORK PROVIDER.
Once you reach your deductible, you will be charged a $20 Office Visit fee that will be applied towards the balance not covered by your insurance provider. Most insurance policies only cover a percentage of cost per treatment, so this Office Visit fee will replace any balance billing to reach the full reimbursement. It is important that individuals understand that acupuncture is charged in units when filed in an insurance claim. *We will not bill to insurance without a confirmed verification of out-of-network acupuncture coverage.
Billing towards a high deductible is also an option. We can bill your insurance before you have reached your deductible. You will be responsible for paying the Time of Service fee + Administrative Billing fee for all acupuncture treatments. Until your insurance starts to cover your services, you are responsible for the out of pocket charges due in full at the time of service. Once the deductible has been reached, you will transition to the office visit fee listed above and all other customary charges will be billed to insurance, and reimbursed to our clinic directly.
