Adequate nutrition is necessary for the prevention of illness and optimum health and well being.  Food provides the energy we need to function in our daily lives and constantly supplies the nutrients which are required to build and regenerate body tissue, bone, muscle, fat and blood. Without the proper nutrients, our bodies cannot produce substances for the chemical processes that take place in our bodies millions of times a day- and malnutrition will occur at some level.

Holistic Nutrition counseling is more than just getting a list of the healthy foods you should be eating.  Holistic nutrition considers more than the micro and macro nutrients your body needs to thrive.  Holistic healing addresses the whole person- physical, mental, and emotional aspects of an individual that makes us individuals.   Many of us have mental and emotional relationships with the foods we choose to eat which makes the addictive qualities of our habits difficult to overcome.  We have integrated mindfulness techniques and breathing exercises that will provide you with tools to cope with difficult cravings and unhealthy relationships with food.
